Car parts can be expensive to get sometimes. At other times they can be extremely impossible to source especially if your car is an older model that is no longer in production. There are different kinds of car parts that you can seek out when you need car parts that are too expensive or difficult to find. Four different types have been listed here: 1. Factory produced new car parts - These are the regular brand new car parts that you are likely to get from the manufacturer or an authorized dealer. While these can be expensive, these car parts guarantee the best quality and consistency 2. Parts of the car parts - Blocks of car parts are generally created out of smaller parts. So when you have car parts that are difficult to find or way too expensive, you can try arriving at the specific sub-part that is faulty and sourcing that. For this you will need to find an expert mechanic who can identify the errant sub part, source and replace it. 3. Recycled car parts - Many manufacturing companies realize that the original car parts that they supply far expensive. Therefore they also recycle car parts. This involves taking older car parts and breaking them down, inspecting them and replacing the sub parts that do not work. These are then reintroduced in the market. Since they also follow the OEM standard, they are also fairly reliable to use. 4. Used parts - The cheapest option to replace car parts that have stopped working is to source them from the salvage yard. Using this option is a good idea only if you are familiar with a reliable salvage yard that you can source the car parts from.
